Portfolio by ChatGPT
Helloo, I have/had zero investing experience and had around $80K+ sitting in a bank account doing nothing. My goal is to buy a house in the next 2–3 years, but I also didn’t want my money losing value to inflation or missing out on market growth. Had ChatGPT build a portfolio strategy that tries to balance being as aggressive as possible while still being conservative/safe given the shorter timeline. The idea was to keep a strong emergency fund in a money market fund, while investing the rest into broad market + growth ETFs.
Current setup is mainly:
VTI
QQQ
SCHD
SNSXX money market fund for emergency savings / liquidity
The overall goal is long-term growth while still keeping flexibility for a house purchase in the near future.
Would genuinely appreciate feedback from more experienced investors. Curious what you guys think I’m doing right, wrong, or would change as genuinely have no clue I’m doing. I’ve been invested for maybe a little over 13 months now I’ve been contributing as much as I possibly can and generally just buy more VTI or Q
