Hi friends
I am far in this journey right now, so I'm sure I've made some mistakes along the way.
I started getting brain zaps around the turn of the year when I switched up my meds, I went from escatalopram/Lexapro - 2yrs to venlafaxine/venlor - 5months and now this week I changed to Bupropion (I changed cos doc thought venlor might be the cause)
Symptoms:
extreme sound sensitivity - high pitched sharp sounds expecially
I can feel/hear the blood in my ears in pulses
zaps which feel like electric shocks in my brain.
My doc was worried that it might be the venlor, but I have subsequently discovered that this phenomenon is very common from stopping SNRI (lexapro) medication.
I stopped taking that over 5 months ago, so I just have no idea whats happening to me.
Honestly worried that this is my permanent life now, I am battling to concentrate and I hate going outside, even being with my gf is challenging because I'm always in this fog.
ok thanks all
Note: I've always had the lowest mg of meds, never high.
