(to be clear, I’m talking about the investigation-trial as opposed to the investigation-trial-investigation-trial format)

I started playing chronicles about two months ago, but only really got into it a few weeks ago (and by “got into it” I mean I started playing it more than once every leap year). I like the story so far, I’m in the middle of the trial portion of G1-5. But I just hate the case format. It just feels incomplete when the investigation ends, and makes the investigations really boring. That last part might just be the slower pacing though. What do you guys think?
