What am I doing wrong on my Kickstarter?

Wielders of Aether dropped April 24th and ends in about 10 days from now. Despite ads, a mailing list, subscribers, not a single conversion. The only backers have been friends and scammers (who cancel).

At this point about 100,000 people have seen my ads. That's resulted in about 1000 link clicks. No bites. They bounce after a few minutes. I thought it was the intro video, which was 7 minutes so I shortened that to a 1 minute trailer. But nothing's changed.

I've seen worse comics from other "first timers" with similar goals get backed 100% in less than a week.

My mailing list was about 2,000 with about 100 link clicks.

My YouTube subs was about 2,000. Not sure on the data but I think 50 or so clicks.

My Twitter followers 3,000 with 50 clicks.

I have ads running on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and Google.

The Wielders of Aether, our debut comic is live in Kickstarter. There's 16 days left at the time of this post. Me and my artist have been working hard to convert my novel, the Guardians into a high-octane comic. Enjoy!

Blurb:

The universe is under siege. It's protectors... the guardians... were all but destroyed centuries ago by the Demigod, Khyrah. Her reign gave rise to the sorcerers, worshipers who draw her power in exchange for their life force. No one wields aether anymore. No one except for three teens, who have caught the watchful eye of the Guardian of Death. Can he keep their existence a secret long enough for them to ascend?

This is my first Kickstarter rodeo. My comic book, the Wielders of Aether went up on April 24th, and I've been getting DMs to my direct email from "backers" who fake pledge to try and get me to buy marketing packages, then un-pledge. This causes my campaign to spike in hundreds of dollars then drop, which I'm sure is bad for the algorithm.

Does Kickstarter have any protections against this sort of thing? What happens if my campaign finishes at 100% and half of these scanners rug pull?

There hasn't been a Guardian of Life in over 400 years. The Demigod, Khyrah, saw to that. Now, with the fate of the universe in the balance, and defenseless worlds crying out for help, one young wielder rises up.

We're live on Kickstarter until May 24th.
