We at the Bruckell Motor Company regret to release that we are due to shut down 28 locations outside of the USA. Here’s what to expect.
Why? Over the past year, we have been making great efforts to help cut costs in order to cope with the US tariffs imposed on vehicles, vehicle parts, copper, steel, and aluminum, we are no longer able to support many foreign suppliers and manufacturing plants. We came to the conclusion that we would rather output a high quality product, with lower quantity, as opposed to leaving our customers dissatisfied in large quantities.
Where? We are shutting down the following amount of locations in each country:
UK: 7 China: 9 Japan: 2 Canada: 5 Ireland: 2 Germany: 3
How will this affect the consumer? As of right now, it is projected that there may be a slight increase in prices for parts and maintenance, along with new vehicles in Q4 2026, and Q1 2027, as this is the duration of time where we will be relocating major factories to the US.
What this means for Bruckell: This is a very rough time for Bruckell, as we have been anticipating a reversal on import tariffs, of which has not happened. It is unlikely that we will reopen any foreign sites, and sales outside of the US may cease entirely. We are uncertain at this time. Funds are low at this time, as we have been personally paying for the tariffs by lowering prices, but this has become unsustainable. We at Bruckell hold our customers dear in our hearts, and hope to see you in our cars in the future.
