Hello again, I’ve been playing volleyball for a bit more than 5 months and started learning how to hit a month ago, after figuring out the approach timing kind of. I watch lots of tutorials and study the forms of professional players, and watching my form compared to theirs, through this video, makes me see a lot of mistakes. I can’t name them all, so I’d appreciate some pointers.

Hello, 14 turning 15M here. I started Volleyball around 5 months ago, and I've mostly been practicing the Standing Float serve. It took a while to get the correct form, especially since | lack arm strength, but it helped me make my form better instead of settling for something worse. Now, I can consistently hit it over 8/10 times, with a consistent float effect 6/10 times. I have trouble hitting it over on a men's net height, and after trying a Jump Float Serve for the first time in today's club practice, the form's not as hard or committed as I thought it'd be, and I believe it'd help with my lack of strength if I practiced it more.

I could consistently get it over the net, but not aim it like I could with the Standing float.

To the main point, I'm definitely not good enough to pull it out in a match yet, but when should I start trying to transition? I need a clear goal with my standing float before trying, since I have trouble judging my own skill.

Attached is my form for both, for reference. I’d also appreciate some form suggestions (i recorded these like immediately after seeing this sub in the bed)
