I'm trying to make a car for my racing game. In it, I want to make the panels separate so that they can be swapped to make the car customizable. When I did that, however, it broke the smooth shading where the meshes split from each other.
In the first picture, everywhere where there isn't a defined sharp, it should be smooth like in picture 3. But as you can see in picture 2, it has sharp edges.
Is there anything I can do? I'm going for a smooth cel-shaded look so having removing the edges is important
