I wanted a better sound than the external speaker that was in my W900. It done the job, but I wanted something better. Dialing in echo is always tough bc it sounds differently over the air as it does on talk back. I wanted to see if I could improve that. I got this little 3.5" pioneer TS 351M and a 6' long 3.5mm aux cord. The speaker is 4 ohm instead of the factory 8. That's where I feel the improvement will happen, besides having a real speaker vs a piece of paper. The factory external speaker plug was really short. I made my own separate plug. It is plenty long enough now. My ears are getting miles on them too. A little more volume and clarity never hurts.

This is before and after. You remove factory resistor and capacitor. I add a Wima 10nf capacitor in place of the larger one in there. I also adjust the factory wires to make it look much cleaner.
