Young toddler living in a polluted city...What to do about outdoor time and is the pool enough?
We are living in a city that is polluted due to woodsmoke half the year. It is well over the suggested limit for exposure. We cannot move for the next two years, but we can go to the countryside for the weekend. We can go to the indoor pool everyday.
- Do the benefits of being outside outweigh the poor air quality? How bad does the air need to be for that to be the case
- Can swim time make up for the outdoor play time?
- Any suggestions for stoller air filters?
- Any research about bringing the outside inside? Going to indoor plant nurseries, having plants insdie, etc
I realize that these questions are quite specific, but any information on how children from polluted cities can overcome the limitations of the air quality is very welcome.
Thank you!
