First time asking for advice somewhere like this!

My busking set up has been less than ideal, using an RSS mount and some tape + paper towels to turn my only floor tom into a kick drum for easy transport.

Looking for anything I can do to continue carrying my entire kit with me in one trip (on the train) but avoid lugging a full size kick drum, as I have no space to own two kick drums and the one I own needs to stay put as the kit in a friend’s studio.

Anyone have a similar setup/recommended hardware (good “beater” heads for a tom, easy way to find small kick by itself, etc)?

I’m this close to buying a second floor tom to exclusively use as a tiny kick to stop tuning and abusing this poor guy 🦶🏻😔
