Hello, I am seeking advice.
I hope to return to college after three years. I started college in 2019 and couldn't resume because I had an outstanding balance. I finished paying off my debt. Hence resuming my studies.
I majored in Criminal Justice back in 2022 and I intend to finish getting all my credits. I would like to add, that I am not a good test taker, but I get high marks on my assignments. I communicate with my professors if I have any questions. Should I be worried about this pressure, if my appeal were to be accepted and I enroll back in college?
That wasn't my main question, but it is a concern on my mind. The Financial Aid department needs solid proof why I didn't complete the previous semesters. To put it in simpler terms, "why didn't I finish those majors?". I contacted the Financial Aid department, and their best example was, "say you were in a car accident, just have those conversations pulled up.". But in my case, I just failed some of those classes because I suck in certain areas.
However, I proved I can improve my grades and suppressed my old grades by a large margin.
I majored in Psychology (2019), Criminal Justice (2020), Art (2021) and Criminal Justice (2022). Again, I intended to continue my degree in 2022. I have my appeal packet drawn up and formatted to OCC's standards.
I'm afraid the appeal with fall through because my lack of evidence for not continuing the previous semesters.
