Did I commit cultural appropriation with my daughter's middle name?

Way back in 2014 me and my kids mother (not together anymore, that has nothing to do with this) visited Isla Mujeres. We were expecting twins (boy/girl), and had our son's names picked but we struggled with my daughter's middle name.

Im a huge fan of mesoamerican archeological history, and QRoo and Belize are places ive spent a lot of time in. Is the name "Ixchel" bad for a gringo such as myself to give to my daughter as her middle name? Because I did. Ive always loved it, it rolls off the tongue nicely, and its a significant name with Maya tradition.

Is it okay? I mean, im not going to change her name at 12yo, but ive always been curious how Mexicans feel about this kind of stuff.

Timed the tides right and got to see it for an hour or so. IYKYK. If you attempt this, be sure and time it right, the tides can trap you there.
