And if so, what kind of scam? To swap in a poorer quality card… or something else?
Bought this card on eBay with the “Authenticity Guarantee”.
It did not pass inspection due to “The certification number of the card received does not match listing”.
I’m sure this could be many things, even a mistake on the sellers part somehow (though doubtful).
(Picture 1 was the listing, Picture 2 is what eBay received)
Of course, I chose to have it returned and refunded. Obviously this is a very expensive card, which I only bought because I sold my own (pulled from the large PFL Box Set) which I’ve regretted ever since. Just badly needed $ at the time.
Thanks for any feedback! I enjoy learning all the low-life ways people try to destroy this hobby. A hobby I’ve loved and grown up with since 1999.
