24M looking for a roommate for a large 2BR/2BA apartment in Broadway Triangle starting August 1.

The apartment is about 970 sq ft with a large living/dining area and two genuinely good-sized bedrooms. One bedroom is slightly larger and has its own attached bathroom. The other bedroom uses the second bathroom in the hall, so each person effectively has their own bathroom.

The current rent split is $1,925 for the smaller bedroom and $2,275 for the larger en-suite bedroom. The total rent is increasing from $4,200 to $4,410 for the renewal, so the updated split would likely be around $2,030 / $2,380, depending on which room each person takes and what we agree on (I'm currently in the smaller one).

Location is Broadway Triangle, near Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Bed-Stuy, with access to the J/M and G trains.

About me: I’m 24, work at a bank, and work from home Thursdays and Fridays. I play sports a couple times a week, usually in the evenings or on weekends. At home I’m pretty low-key and mainly looking for someone chill, reliable, and easy to live with. We definitely do not need to be best friends, but it would be nice to be comfortable around each other and communicate normally if anything comes up.

My current roommate is moving out at the end of the lease. I’m deciding whether to renew with a new roommate or get my own place, and I need to give the landlord an answer soon. I’m hoping to meet people and figure out whether there’s a good fit within the next week or so.

Landlord approval and normal income/credit documentation would be required though I'm still confirming details.
