I did my first playthrough on expert and used nothing else than the greatsword. And i was noticing that a lot of people were saying the greatsword is trash. I started a new save doing spear only and spear turns game into easy mode, but still after using spear now i still think the greatsword is extremely good to use. I just think the dual blades and the spear is so overtuned.
