_As the Second World War rages across Europe and beyond, the Axis powers for the first time begin to lose ground. Fearing a loss more and more over the following years, a sect of the German Reich turns to supernatural means. They make contact with their fallen compatriots in the spirit realm of Purgatory, bridging the worlds to infuse their soldiers with immortality and other superhuman abilities. But this power is not without its cost. Soon the spirit bridge begins to rupture, sending ghosts and other foul creatures into the living world._

_In response, a secret task force is assembled to close the Rift and destroy the Axis powers that created it for good._

* **Looking for players who** are dedicated, consistent, and flexible. Those rigidly stuck on a premade concept need not apply, nor pure minmaxers. We are a group of fun, story-based, character-driven role players looking for interaction and creativity. LGBT+ friendly community. Despite the setting, racial and cultural insults and derogatory language will not be tolerated.

Story: With tensions growing in the western Atabean Sea, the small but vital island of New Carleon stood as a free harbor in stormy waters. Its governor, Edward Marlowe, set out to make peace with rival factions only to be killed in the process. Now his widow has assumed leadership. Beset on all sides by warring powers, and all but abandoned by the Atabean Trading Company, Governor Etta Marlowe has sent out a call for aid. Privateers and independent seafarers have begun to arrive, seeking riches, political advancement, vengeance, or simply adventure on the high seas.

Notes: Applicants MUST be committed roleplayers available to respond to posts on a regular basis. Inactivity will not be tolerated for long, so please do not apply if you have busy schedules.
