Recently had two players drop from our FFG Star Wars game due to scheduling issues so we wanted to get the party back up to full for the rest of the campaign. We're about halfway through and have plans to continue with the group into other settings/systems afterwards if everyone meshes well, so there's a good bit to play if you're looking for something regular

Homebrew setting info:

Peace! 315 ABY dawns as brutal exhaustion has consumed the galaxy. War between the Mandalorian Galactic Empire and the Intersystem Democratic Republic has ended after 120 years of brutal campaigning on a scale not seen in the galaxy in centuries. The expansion of the belligerent Empire has been halted by a grand show of strength and unity long thought lost to the fragile Republic.

The conflict has split the galaxy in two, both Galactic nations stand weakened and assured that the treaty was mutual for the safety and prosperity of their respective civilians. Rumors persist on both sides of the Kalagan Line, however, that this is just a small break in the fighting before the Empire pushes for more land. 

The Mandalorian Galactic Empire, formed in 213 ABY, and is bent on returning the ancient ways of the “True Mandalorians” while also learning from the mistakes of the past. Mand’alore Hal Niiv The Wise sits atop a throne of Mandalorian Iron which has been fashioned to be actively painful to sit on, a thought which is ingrained metaphorically in every seat of power in the Empire. 

The IDR, a re-organized Stellar Federal Republic, was built from the ashes of the New Republic after a short and decisive civil war in 110 ABY. The hold of the IDR over the System-States within has weakened to the point that they largely govern themselves, using the IDR as a way to regulate their interactions. Galactic Overseer Jyn Nearsaa was voted into office by a historic landslide after a number of key trade deals bringing the disparate System-States closer together during the strife of the Mandalorian Conquest War.

The Jedi Council, ever the pacifists, have largely remained neutral in the war, only stepping in to offer humanitarian aid to civilians affected by the war or to adopt force sensitive children, regardless of galactic, planetary or even national borders. This collection of actions and inactions alongside a history of being deeply involved in most major galactic conflicts has led to the IDR and MGE alike to heavily regulate force users within their borders, going so far as to exile force users entirely to an independent galactic state in the center of the galaxy.

Now the two major powers stand in an uncomfortable cease fire, neither willing to back down from the other while the citizens of the galaxy are caught in the middle…
