Frame for custom FS build
Hi everyone.
I've been occasionally thinking about building my own bicycle (I already have other one, I am just interested in building it from scratch), and I have came across one eshop, that has frame for https://archive.konaworld.com/archive/2021/hei_hei.cfm, without shock, for about 450€.
My question is, do you think this frame is still relevant these days? I am not that familiar with FS frames, so I don't know, for example, if this pivot type is ok for XC and maybe some trails and technical stuff (no heavy jumps), or if it's a bad option? So far from what I have seen, finding 165x38 shock would be tricky, but if I understand shock parameters correctly, 165x37,5 (that seem to be more available) would mean just rear travel shorter by a few milimeters, and would otherwise be ok?
