I am about to end my junior year of high school. I hold no leadership positions, no member positions in any clubs, and my grades are average. I am not currently taking any AP classes, but I have enrolled into four APs for my senior year. I don’t have a job, and I have no service or passion projects. My severe anxiety and depression during freshman and sophomore year have caused me to avoid stepping outside of my comfort zone (TMI? 🤔), and I have only become driven and motivated in my junior year. I got a 1140 on my SATs, but I’m planning to retake it. What can I do over the summer and beginning of senior year to make my college application stand out, if that’s still even possible?
