What are the best romances you've watched where romance was a sub-plot and not the main genre?
Don't get me wrong, I love romance and rom-com, and sometimes what I need is a very cheesy love. But I also love other genres, and sometimes I feel like those dramas where romance is a sub-plot do it better.
The romance blends in amidst the other things going on, but it's often healthy, realistic, or sometimes even better than the dramas purely focused on romance.
One example is Happiness - the show is a social commentary action-thriller zombie thing, but I absolutely LOVE the main couple and their growing romance.
Do you have other recommendations like that? Any genre is fine.
