I cancelled end term care of child tax benefit because my kid

I did it on my cra account

I received child tax benefit today, I don’t have custody of her so not sure why I received it

Should I call them? Or is there another way to communicate with cra ?

Do you need to show them the course selection or what ? I’m taking a free college course
