I've tried searching and it seems like the 6 second pre-roll should just be happening but it appears that mine is not or I'm just not able to see it.
The camera in question is a Floodlight Cam Wired Plus (V3) with cam-1.29.11600 firmware.
Some backstory to maybe entice someone to help me find this missing footage...
I was testing my son's go kart in preparation for a race this weekend and because I'm much too large for it, when I attempt to sit in (which means on the sides) the seat it tweaks it and causes it to accelerate because the seat was missing a bolt and how the throttle cable is run. Me being a poster child for why women live longer figured, no big deal, I can still control it with steering and brake. So I set off up my driveway. The camera detected this motion and recorded (time stamp 11:38 for 25 seconds). On the way back down the driveway, I lost control, went into the grass and got bucked off the kart. It recorded me getting up and the kart doing a donut as the RPM came down (time stamp 11:39 for 1:25). Unfortunately, it missed the best part!
I know that this footage has to exist somewhere, I'm sure the camera records more than just when there is motion. Can anyone help me recover this missing time somehow? If I subscribe to 24/7 recording, will it backdate to previous recordings? If I contact Ring, might they be able to get it for me?
I need this recording so that me, my friends, my wife and other random people can laugh at my stupidity, trying to drive a go kart meant for a 10 year old, when I knew that I shouldn't have!
