Im building a 5.1 system around my bed but on a budget.
My idea is building the LCR with the Pluvia 7 and the Rears with CHR70. First I wanted to build the rears just to see if it would sound like anything…
The CHR70 are in a sealed 5 liter enclosure with braces and some polyfill.
Yesterday I hooked them up to my Advance Paris A10 which I normally use with the BMR Monitors.
They sound amazing! I’m blown away by the sound these drivers produce. Mids and highs are perfect and sound natural. Soundstage is bigger than expected. Imaging is great. Instrument placement is okay. And the small amount of bass that there is is very pleasend.
Building speakers yourself and then listening to them is truly an amazing feeling!
For my first ever build I’m very happy! Feel free to give me tips or advice before building the LCR speakers.
