Signed a coaching contract

Hi sub,

I used to frequent this AF gym, but recently one of the coaches has been following me around while I work out. He mentioned that he’s new and wanted to help some members while he doesn’t have clients yet.

At first, it was okay, it felt like we were helping each other out. His coaching was actually pretty helpful, but eventually it became a bit too aggressive because he was clearly trying to close a sale. I told him I needed time to think about it, and since I had left my credit card at home anyway, I said I’d just come back for it later. But he kept pushing to the point where he convinced me to sign a contract first and just return later for the payment.

Before signing, I specifically asked if it would automatically be charged to my membership, and they said no. Honestly, I only signed because I wanted to leave already as it didn’t seem like he was going to let the conversation end otherwise.

I know I still share responsibility here. I am genuinely interested in getting coaching sessions, and I can afford them at the moment. But after thinking about it more, the way he handled the whole thing felt overly pushy and very “hard sell,” which honestly made me suspicious because I’ve read similar stories about some AF coaches in this sub.

My question is: since I already signed the contract, am I still obligated to pay even though I haven’t provided any payment details yet?
