Recent grabs - The Nocturnal but its dry and the addictive Rhytm.
All the hype around it faded away with the time I tested NOCTURNO ELIXIR. I was too hyped up for this one and my expectations let me down tbh. Now its way too powdery for people in a country where everyone is familiar with Ponds Lavende.This one doesnt click. It is not sexy or addictive.Its too dry and doesn't appeal to me. The citrus notes are there but barely surviving under the lavender.Yes its ambery and sandalwood is there but it gives the vibes of the lavender powder bottle that you have grown up watching. It projects well and lasts well but It won't impress people around. Even the smell has something unpleasnat about it.5/10 for me.
ZIMAYA RHYTM is the other way around when it comes to hype but this one deserved all of it.This is mine and even my wife's fav among all Symphony inspired frags.This one does this DNA beautifully better than Khadlaj Island Dreams thoufh haven't tried Mykonos Reflection. But this one has the best twist I have heard and its damn true.The citrus note is amped up and that gives this one the edge.The grapefruit and bergamot opening here is zesty and the Ginger and Green apple in the middle notes adds the required sweetness and subtle spiciness.The dry down is a blend of all these notes with the sweetness dampened.Having smelled and tried the OG twice I would say its 80 percent close but because of the twist I love this one.
It projects fab for half an hour and moderately for 2 hr. And I could smell it on fabric after 12 hour mark. 8/10 for me.
