Hi,
I am 18 years old and from Sweden (so there might be some bad grammar here).
I currently go to high school, but I can’t stop thinking about starting my own business. I’ve already started one in finance where I help startups raise capital and take 4% of the total amount (I haven’t helped any startups yet). I also trade a lot, but I’m not making money yet. I am EXTREMELY interested in finance and I really love the markets.
I also feel like school is not really for me. I don’t think I would enjoy an office job, because I feel like I’m way too entrepreneurial for that.
My question is: do you think I should move to the US (the land of opportunity and better for business), work at a gas station or McDonald’s, and try to achieve my dreams in trading and business? Or should I just stay in school? And probably be miserable rest of my life. Or the risk is I get to work at McDonalds rest of my life too.
The thing is also that my entire family has been in college/university and they all got very good jobs so I am afraid that I will be a disappointment.
