Is there any way I can work abroad first, given that there’s an opportunity from my relatives? I understand the return service requirement, and I want to abide by the contract, but it’s really hard to find opportunities in the current job market, especially here in the Philippines. It’s making me feel depressed.
I already have two years of work experience before applying for the scholarship grant; I just had to focus on finishing my studies. I’m wondering if those two years of experience can be credited toward my return service, since it’s already equivalent to my contract.
Where can I inquire about this? Does anyone know how the process works?
I really want to help my family, but being tied to staying in the Philippines right now and being underpaid is very frustrating. On top of that, I haven’t been able to build connections through networking, which makes it even harder. I feel stuck.
