Retreat or private lessons in Bali?
Hi all, I’m going to Bali this summer and want to do aerial. I just started a few months ago and know a little bit more than a beginner. I found a few retreats and did some research and spoke with their hosts. They all seem legit and pretty well known.
My question is, would a retreat be worth it for someone like me? I’m 24 F and worried that I may not be the target demographic. Is it all older people? Another goal of mine will be to connect with people closer to my age. The retreat I settled on is about $2000 and includes 12 hours of training over the course of a week, food, accommodation, and other sight seeing activities. But if I were to take private lessons they would be $50 an hour. If I were to train the same amount via private lessons and pay for my own food and housing I estimate that I would not spend more than $1000 in a week in Bali.
Is the extra 1k worth it for all the other activities and the overall experience? I have a pretty high paying job but I feel bad about spending so much money as such a young person and want to make sure it’s worth it.
