HELP!!! Clutch related issue, is there anyone who has good knowledge or is an experienced mechanic, I am trying to fix my bike on my own.

I have Kawasaki ninja 650 2021
The clutch does not engage, I checked the plates they are good. This problem started after I replaced my snapped clutch cable.
I rode the bike for 40kms after changing the cable which worked after that I went home and the bike was just parked there for a month or so and now the clutch does not engage.
