We’re happy to share that Episode 5 of our Śrīmad Bhāgavatam animated series is now live!

EP. 5 — The Final Teachings of Bhīṣmadeva

In this episode, we enter the final moments of the great Bhīṣmadeva, lying upon his bed of arrows and surrounded by Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the Pāṇḍavas, and great sages. Bhīṣmadeva begins imparting profound teachings to Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira on duty, suffering, time, devotion, and the mysterious plan of the Supreme Lord.

As always, this series is being created with the intention of presenting the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam through cinematic animation while staying faithful to the teachings and purports of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda.

Hey everyone 🙏

I’ve been working on a long-term project called Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, an animated series inspired directly by the teachings and narration of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s Śrīmad Bhāgavatam.

The goal is to tell these stories cinematically while staying faithful to the original text and its purports — rather than creating a modernized or heavily rewritten version of the story.

The series begins in the aftermath of the Kurukṣetra war, when Aśvatthāmā commits a terrible act against the Pāṇḍavas. Arjuna captures him and is faced with a difficult question:

What should justice look like when compassion, duty, gratitude and dharma all seem to point in different directions?

That becomes the beginning of the journey.

We've now reached Episode 4, covering the beginning of Queen Kuntī's prayers, but I wanted to share the first episode for anyone who might be interested in experiencing the story from the beginning.

This is an independent project, and I'm still learning a lot as I build it. I'd genuinely love feedback — especially from people familiar with the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam or Mahābhārata.

Prayers by Queen Kuntī | Śrīmad Bhāgavatam EP. 4

I’ve just released Episode 4 of our animated Śrīmad Bhāgavatam series — “Prayers by Queen Kuntī.” 🙏

This episode covers Śrīmad Bhāgavatam Canto 1, Chapter 8, Texts 13–48, focusing on Queen Kuntī’s prayers to Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

What I particularly wanted to explore visually was Kuntī’s extraordinary perspective on suffering — that even calamities can become a blessing when they bring us closer to remembering Kṛṣṇa.

The episode also covers the protection of Parīkṣit from Aśvatthāmā’s brahmāstra, Kuntī’s realization of Kṛṣṇa as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and her reflections on material attachment, devotion, and surrender.

This series is being created as an attempt to bring the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam to life through cinematic animation, while staying grounded in the translations and purports of Śrīla Prabhupāda.

Would genuinely love to hear your thoughts on the episode — especially on Kuntī’s prayer that calamities may come again and again because they remind her of Kṛṣṇa.

Hi everyone!

Over the past few months, I've been independently creating a cinematic animated adaptation of the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, based exclusively on the books of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda.

The goal isn't just to retell these timeless pastimes—it's to make the younger generation excited about exploring our scriptures and inspired to read them for themselves.

So far:

  • 🎬 Episode 1 & Episode 2 are live.
  • 🚀 Episode 3 is releasing this week.

I'm still learning and improving with every episode, so I'd genuinely appreciate constructive criticism on the animation, storytelling, pacing, editing, sound design, or anything else you notice.
