Hi y’all!

I’ve only been growing my hair for about 4 months, but I’ve been thinking about growing it for a while now. The first picture is from February(I know that’s more like 3 months, but I didn’t think to take a picture then) and the second one is from a couple of days ago (thanks Abbey Yung). I’m also someone who LOVES to change her hair a lot, so this growing out stuff is not working well with my patience/ADHD brain.

Now that it’s grown out I’d really like to work in more of my natural color throughout the bottom and add in some highlights to get a natural balayage look. I’m just nervous about doing that because of damage. I know that coloring your hair comes with some damage, but I’m just wondering if anyone has been in this situation as well? I provided some inspo pictures in the last two slides as reference for what I’d be going for. Should I do it and make it more blendy or should I just keep growing it so my natural is the most prominent color? If I did that then I could do something with it later down the line with essentially virgin hair! Thoughts? Any advice is welcome! 🤗
