Dare I say, at the sureness of being destroyed in here, I think I’m rooting for Rizzo to win.
Yes, he’s young and wild, but I also think he’s a master at a few things like timing and relationships in this game.
He held on to his closest two alliances as long as he needed them, but also knew the *timing* of when to cut them. He knew when to tell Cirie information and when to withhold it. He knew, just as the sky is blue, that he wouldn’t beat either Cirie or Ozzy at the end. He didn’t let his arrogance shadow that. And that might have deterred some people from working with them, but he knew how to use them and when to loose them.
The mere fact that he made that strong of a relationship with them when both of them have been around the survivor world as long as he’s been alive is impressive. He built that trust and those relationships from the ground up in 3 weeks. He didn’t have an ounce of “pregamming” that almost everyone else got.
He also has balls of steel for holding on to his idol this long. I can’t recall another player (aside from him in 49) to use an idol to such an advantage. To keep that composure and not just use it, especially at a basically final 5 tribal last week, is wild.
People say he’s lazy, but give the man a break. He’s exhausted. He’s been playing survivor for like two months. I’m surprised he’s still standing straight. And yes he doesn’t win challenges, but neither does Cirie and everyone loves her.
Also, I love the way he talks about his family and honors his parent’s sacrifice.
I mean, yes, he is young and annoyingly arrogant at times (but so was Tyson).
I would not be mad about him winning.
