Mavericks United Internship Program, go an interview, how do I prepare?

Hi everyone! I recently got shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process for the Mavericks United Internship Program, which is an online interview.

If anyone here has gone through the process before, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience, what the interview was like, the kind of questions they asked, the overall selection process, or any tips/advice you might have. Thank you!

Why is tech so anxiety inducing?

I know imposter syndrome is a thing, but tech genuinely gives me the worst anxiety. I’m 22F, a final year student, and even though I’ve done internships, they stressed me out so much. Right now I’m working a non tech job, but I constantly feel guilty that I’m wasting time by not gaining more experience in tech even though it’s my actual field.

I understand all the basic concepts pretty well, but with AI becoming such a huge part of development, I find myself relying on these tools a lot. I know how to use them properly, prompt them, and get the job done, but I still can’t shake the feeling that I’m somehow incapable for needing them.

It feels like everyone else is naturally smarter, more passionate, or more built for this field than I am. Some days I genuinely wonder if I even belong in tech despite spending years studying it.

Is this normal? Does anyone else feel like this?

got prescribed this for my acne, reviews?

My acne isn’t extremely severe [pictures on the next slide, most of them are acne marks not really acne so I was even contemplating trying this], but I’ve consistently struggled with flare-ups and post-acne marks/scarring. I could’ve gone straight for aesthetic treatments, but I decided to try this approach first. I might get Q switch laser after that for acne scars (any suggestions for clinics etc?)

I’ve been prescribed a 20 mg course of Isotretinoin for a month, so I’ll see how my skin responds over that time.

Previously, I was using Adapalene (Adapco) and Azelaic Acid (Skinoren). Skinoren definitely helped reduce my acne marks initially, although I’m not really sure if it’s still making much of a difference now.
