Me(27)and fiancé (27), we have been together for about 4 years now. I have always wanted my own bachelor party with my friends from the different parts of my life. I was thinking Nashville or something similar but I want a bachelor party where we can go golfing, drink beer, maybe gamble a little bit and have all of my friends get to know each other before the wedding. My fiancée really wanted a joint one as we have some of our friends in the same group, but others who don’t know each other. She had suggested why don’t we stay in the same place but do our separate things during the day and meet up at night. I was never a fan of that idea. This has caused a major rift in the relationship as she thinks this means I don’t consider her feelings and that I’m not willing to compromise. I’ve always envisioned my bachelor party as us guys being able to enjoy ourselves, have my friends become friends, and do things without judgement. For the record, my friends and I would never do the usual bach party suspect stuff strippers etc. Just want a weekend with the boys. She believes that I should be able to compromise but therefore thinks I don’t consider her wants as well. It has caused a big fight between us. AITA for this?
