How do you guys deal with the self-identity problem?
I have been applying for the citizenship since 2024 and I am currently considering cancelling it.
Though the life here is perfectly fine, but I never feel like that I am a real German, or I am being treated as a German. Especially in crisis, like economical crisis or housing crisis, you will really feel that you are a foreigner.
How do you guys deal with this problem? Can we just treat the German citizenship only as a "service" and forget about this issue?
