Upcoming Cyberpunk novelists in the server:
I’ve seen some people talking about ideas they can use for their cyberpunk novels, and it made me wonder how many people are working towards making a good cyberpunk novel—it got me thinking though as I am working on one myself, too.
It’s a bit silly, and I’m just trying to be fun here:
Who are my competitors? I wanna know the basic premises of your stories! Don’t give out too much info, we don’t want copycats creeping around and taking too many ideas!
I personally am pretty iffy about publicly ranting about my novel, but I’ll tell you guys the basic premise.
Mines pretty big on this tragic coming of age story with the political (authoritarian, capitalist, corporate, maybe a bit of totalitarian) side of cyberpunk and its effects rather than the cool netrunning stuff like Neuromancer, what about you guys? I’d love to hear it!
