4 month old baby

Hello!

I could really use some advice as we were told my 4 month old has eczema.

He’s been prescribed the following:
Hydrocortisone 1% 1-2x a day for 7 days
Epimax cream (body)
Epimax eyelid ointment (face)
Zeroderm ointment (body)

They do get better with the steroids but come back once we finish the regimen.

He is formula fed only and we have also changed our laundry soap with Ecover Zero from Fairy Non Bio.

We also use hypochlorous acid to clean his things when needed.

I am bringing him back to the GP for further advice, but could really use some recommendations/ advice from others who have gone through it too.

Has someone been in the same situation with an infant? What did you guys do to help improve it? Will it go?

I have attached a photo of what they look like. Do they look like eczema?

Is anyone else’s baby just… not regressing because there was nothing to regress from?

I have read so much about the dreaded sleep regression at 4 months. My LO is now 4 months and I don’t know what to expect.

We were strict with feeds from birth (he had jaundice, so we had no choice), and he’s just… never grown out of it. 4 months old now, best case is a 3 hour stretch, otherwise it’s 2-hourly round the clock. We have tried different things to try and get his sleep stretches a bit longer to no avail.

I keep seeing posts about their babies having long stretches before this stage then having more frequent wake ups during the regression phase.

Should I be expecting him to wake up more than he already does? Is there anyone else in the same boat or had a similar experience? What actually happens to babies during regression periods who don’t have long stretches of sleep? 😂😂

Regrets

Anyone else had a researcher reject them for “not following instructions” when you know you did? Just had this happen with Ballpark Research, and checked Prolific Tea + Reddit after. Plenty of posts saying to block them and I wish I’d seen it beforehand. Feeling a bit deflated but guess I’m not alone. I now have to do 50 studies to get my rating up. I really regret doing that low paying study.

A little backstory — I was losing so much to Etsy fees, and Justine built me my own site so I could take back control. I do still pay for Stripe to handle payments, but overall it’s so much more cost effective. And the best part? I have my own admin page where I can manage all my listings, stock, events — everything. It’s proper, and it’s mine.

But honestly, it goes beyond the website. Justine has been there supporting me every step of the way as I’ve built this little business from the ground up — and this is just one of the many ways he’s shown up for me. I want to shout him out and showcase the incredible work he does behind the scenes, because he deserves it. 🤍

He’s looking to do the same for a few more small businesses and handcrafters — people who pour their heart into what they make and deserve a website that shows it.

Have a look at what he built for me as an example 👇

I am so proud of what he’s created and so grateful every single day. If you’re a maker, crafter, or small biz owner who’s been putting off getting a proper website — this is your sign. Drop me a message and I’ll put you in touch. 🤍

Thank you! 🤍
