Asking for a friend.

He owns a Japanese Toyota sedan, Axio G. It has climate control feature. He got some minor AC work done, may be a sensor was changed, since then he got into a new trouble. Although AC works super fine, but it gets blank for some 10-15 seconds initially & no display appears and hence it cant be used during this time.

When we consulted a AC technician, he told AC's memory was clear and that this issue is also found in Toyota Prius. We were told it has no solution and that only climate control module's replacement can fix it. Otherwise, it works fine.

Any solution or anyone who ran into same issue?
