Bring stray cat indoors?
I know this is a subreddit about outdoor cats but I don’t know where to post this. I live in a trailer park and there is an orange male cat that sleeps under the trailer next to me. He started to come out while I was tanning so I’ve started to feed him daily. I don’t know if he belongs to someone else but I just hate the fact that he’s outside. We live right by the highway and there is a little boy who comes to mess with the cat. Have had to tell him to knock it off and stay away from him. I have an indoor male cat as well who is fixed but when we adopted him they said he does not like other cats. The outdoor cat seems well taken care of so I don’t know if he is someone’s cat. I don’t want to steal someone’s pet but he is always under the trailer. I always give him water and he’s always so thirsty. I’ve had stray cats around before but this one is just so loving. Also his tail seems a little stiff I don’t know what that’s about…
Edit/Update: Found out Garf (Garfield) has MULTIPLE families. Everyone around here feeds him which is why he is so well fed. My mother said she is pretty sure he belongs to someone a few places down. He’s just the sweetest thing ever and I so wish I could take him in. However, I would not catnap someone else’s cat. I worry just because he’s not fixed and his tail seems messed up but can’t do anything about it unfortunately. He still comes around and I still love him very much.
