What are the chances!

My son claims this is a very nice card but as I’ve stated in my title I truly can’t act like I even know anything.

Had stuffed these 3 in my storage unit with a good 4500+ other cards all mixed (MTG,Yugioh,Pokemon)
Been searching for a week and finally found them. Super stoked 😂
Now to go through the rest.

I genuinely love this card so much. I knew it looked good online, but it's beautiful in person!

Charizard is obviously the OG. But I’m digging this Latias I pulled today. I don’t have a huge collection.. just pulled out some oldies from elementary school & it sparked a lil interest in the new stuff. I get maybe one pack a month just for fun.. new pulls are in the bottom. I have way more older stuff. What you guys think? New school or old school?

Got this Aquapolis Crystal Lugia card on amazon back in 2020 for about $200. Really hope it’s not counterfeit.

Hey y’all! I’m looking for artists who want to help redesign the subreddit banner/header and icon. Right now it’s mostly Poké Balls and, honestly… pretty generic. 😅

I’d love to rotate original, community-made art throughout the year, seasonal designs, holidays, different Pokémon eras, or anything that fits the community and makes this sub feel a bit more alive

Finished artwork, sketches, and concepts are all welcome.
If your work is selected, you’ll be credited and get an exclusive custom artist flair, “Resident Poké-Van Gogh,” “Poké-Banksy,” “PokeBrandt” or whatever ridiculous title you come up with.

A few basics: original artwork only, AI generations are NO BUENO (as I’ve learned first hand on this sub 😂). The banner displays around** **10:3, and the icon is tiny, so simpler designs work best.

No deadline; I’d like to keep this open as an ongoing community project. 🎨

EDIT: Unfortunately, this isn’t a paid project. I don’t have the extra funds right now to pay for subreddit banners, giveaways, etc. 😭

Aquapolis Umbreon has unfortunately outpriced me, but I found an ebay listing for an altered/laminated card that was near decent!

It was authenticated by Ebay (via PSA) as legit. And in my binder you’d never know!

I just can’t get enough of these now. Knowing the history and that these packs survived 25 years of temptations to end up in my collection.

Am I the only one that loves vintage packs despite the eye watering prices?

I have been saving cards from the thrift, McDonalds, and halloweens the last 5 ish years. This is the first time I’ve actually gone out and bought new packs for myself in quite some time :)
