Why are these two dudes different?

I apologize for my ignorance in advance. Dug up my old collection and am slowly sifting through them. But I noticed the difference in saturation between these two venusaur. Both pulled from packs eons ago

Edit: I truly appreciate everyone’s contributions. I just learned there’s a card show coming up in my area soon so I’m gonna unload these boys to someone who will appreciate them more than my closet

Would this card be considered LP or MP.

Fresh pull out of a God pack and had this dent on the bottom right. Thinking LP but it's very visible under light

Why are pokemon cards SO expensive now??

I collected a bit back in 2018, where most cards, even rare were affordable. Now it's going nuts. I know there was a boom in 2020 with covid and Logan Paul ect, but it seems like its gotten even worse since last year?

How do we display/store our collection at home?

Been slowly building up a small Pokémon collection (mix of raw and graded slabs), and some other card collectables and I’m at the point where it’s outgrown the shoebox-under-the-bed phase. Trying to figure out how to actually display it without turning my room into a museum gift shop.

Curious what everyone’s actually using:

•	How do you display graded slabs (shelves, cabinets etc)?
•	Do you worry about security at all (theft, kids, pets knocking stuff over)?
•	What’s the one thing about your current setup that annoys you the most or that you love the most, if anything?

Would love to see pics of your setups too if you’re willing to share. Trying to get ideas before I commit to buying/building something!

Is number 6 a fake?

Is number 6 a fake card? Whenever i try to scan using a phone app it gives me a different charizard card. I know i pulled two legits once back in the day and the rest was traded.

Also in general any tips when i should have a card graded vs leave it be? A guy told me that it was pointless to have my cards graded as it costs alot of money and time - and they might be worthless but he'll take the binder for $500 cash

Sorry for the quite noobish question and sorry if this breaks the rules of the sub, no idea where to start

Childhood collection

I found my old childhood collection and I really liked everyone’s newer binders so I sleeved and added them all to a new binder to keep safe. I have a lot of bulk but this is everything that was kind of cool or valuable.

anyone else so tired of this?

people need to get a grip

he genuinely thinks he can sell this raw for 1500

EDIT/UPDATE:
i explained to him that ai grading tools arent always right and that nobody will pay thats price unless its already slabbed up. he admitted fault and seems like he lowered the price but might not take it down yet

i also mentioned he shouldnt even grade it himself bc its off center lol

Nothing special, but I like it.

Always loved this card, it’s also one of the rare base set cards that looks better as unlimited. Shadowless version is much more washed out

Is this a swirl?

Hey all - I don’t investigate or review swirls that often but this caught my idea?

To clarify - this is a swirl behind Eevees tail right and from my eye it would look like a nice one? Just confirming.
