How do you start a masterset?

Ik this seems like a silly question but how does one go about starting a masterset? I want to masterset tandemaus/ maushold and only have 1 card to start 😩 (tandemaus 30th anniversary illustration rare, English version). Do i just buy each individual card online, go to card shows/shops and ask to look at bulk, ask friends, etc? I would love any tips/ suggestions. Thank y’all so much!
