Why are there so many 3 bed 1 bath, 4 bed 1 bath even 5 bed 1 bath apartments. I’m trying to move (near) Boston from NC and I can’t imagine having to wait in a queue to use a bathroom. What’s a girl gotta do for a 3 bed 2 bath?…… I’m seeing 3 bed 2 bath full apartments in the area that I want but no one with a bed in one that I can just take (within my budget)

Update: ok whoa some of u guys need to chill on calling me spoiled. Just because u are used to the arrangement doesn’t make me spoiled for finding it unusual especially since this problem doesn’t exist in most of the country. I’m used to sharing a bathroom with my mom but I’ll say it again 4 people to 1 bath is NOT standard so when I saw it i was confused.

I don’t have “money” nor do I want a luxury apartment. I don’t even have a car. I was really hoping to find a 3 bed 2 bath for around 3900 or even a 4 bed 2 bath for like 5k ish? Near Allston newton Brighton etc idk my max budget is 1300 for myself and even that is a stretch if prefer to keep it to it under 1200.

Hi! I recently graduated from Duke, and I’m moving to the Boston area for healthcare in Chestnut Hill. I’m looking for a room/roommates, preferably female, with a budget of $1,300/month max + utilities.

I’d ideally love a private bathroom, but I’m definitely open to sharing and can be flexible depending on the setup. Since I’ll be working in Chestnut Hill, I’m looking around Brighton, Brookline, Newton, Allston, Jamaica Plain/Mission Hill, or anywhere else that would give me a reasonable commute and fits my budget.

A little about me: I’m clean and pretty on top of keeping shared spaces maintained and stocked. I also love to cook, so I’m definitely someone who uses the kitchen! I’m friendly and would love to be comfortable/hang out with my roommates, but I’m also respectful of everyone’s space and downtime.

For context, im dating a black american, who didn't go to college, and is finishing up trade school. i graduated from a very good US school and am premed. my mom doesn't approve of my boyfriend. My parents are divorced, i dont talk to my dad and my mom is my sole caretaker.

We have an ant problem. There are ants in all of my things, i feel ants crawling on me all the time. i bought bait, hopefully that'll solve the problem.

its been very distracting while studying for the MCAT. I try to study at the library but i dont always finish before they close. So i have to study at home.

I joked that I should stay with my boyfriend until we get this ant stuff figured out, she was not happy and threatened to kick me out. My mother tends to be dramatic so ik she doesn't actually mean the things that she says. But after i apologized she's just been giving me the silent treatment.

Like i said my parents are divorced. my dad was well off and educated (where is he now? nowhere to be found). he was also an asshole and abusive. My mom says its stupid for me to marry my boyfriend (mind u i just graduated college lowk not thinking abt marriage but pop off) because of his current circumstances. i asked her if she loved my father before she married him, she had no response.

Anyways she's been ignoring me all day, i heard her on the phone saying that she's been feeling low today. I'm feeling kind of bad because ik that her and my dad had a really rough and painful marriage. I hate that i brought it up, but i just couldn't understand how she doesn't see what i see. She literally raised me to be independent, so why would i care how much my husband makes? how many men even make more than surgeons (inshallah)? Why would i treat education and income as a primary metric for finding a husband? clearly it didn't work for her.

Dont be mistaken I love my mother deeply and would do anything for her. i'm feeling guilty but at the same time im not because i feel like she needs to wake up and realize its 2026.

I just graduated college with a cell bio and global health degree. I’m trying to find clinics that’ll train medical assistants for a couple of years. I’m taking 2 gap years before medical school and am willing to work for essentially minimum wage as I’ll be living at home. I’m pretty much just looking for experience. I have about 200 hours as a medical scribe and another 40-50 doing some at home patient care. I don’t want to get a CCMA because it’s expensive and ultimately not my goal long term. Any advice for finding these clinics, I feel like I’ve applied to every single gap year listing on indeed in my area. Thanks!

Hi! This is now my third time attempting to study for the MCAT, I know I tend to study best in group settings surrounded by people who are also locked in. If anyone in the DFW or specifically GP/Arlington/Irving area wants to start an accountability group pm me. Honestly even if youre studyin for LSAT or GRE. I just need study spaces filled with fellow studiers it makes me feel more productive.
