Hello!
So I have made the Anthea Mood dress and I am overall very happy with it. I did a mockup and had to cut around the armholes and lengthen the straps as the bust was sitting way too high.
It has a lining on the bodice and the skirt. However the linings are separate, because I thought I wouldn’t need lining for the skirt but the fabric was see throughout so I added it last minute.
Even though I did mockup and tested it throughout the entire project, I can’t help but feel that it doesn’t sit right bellow the bust. As you can see in the photos, it keeps bunching and I don’t know how to fix it because it has lining. I would like to fix it without ripping the dress. I also haven’t washed it yet, so maybe it’ll soften after the wash?
I thought about putting an elastic on the seam but I don’t know so I came here for help.
Any other comments and recommendations are also appreciated. Thank you!
EDIT: Forgot to mention that since I have a small bust, I also feel that, since it’s not tight under the bust, it keeps moving with me and doesn’t sit under the bust. But I don’t know if that is fixable without using a bra..
