Captured from my iPhone on Wednesday (Sept-30). 30s exposure. You could easily see the haze with your naked eye. Really amazing to get to experience this. I’ve not seen this before - it’s crazy how much light pollution exists.
This new UX with the tabbed feed (For You vs Following) still a terrible experience.
But here’s a piece of constructive critique of the comments section. The spacing of the up/down vote buttons are just way too close to the edge of the screen. I even had a little trouble circling the left side of the buttons since it was so close to the edge. This seems like it shifted for me with this “better” UX beta test you put me in.
For the complete record, this UX is awful and mimics other social media platforms that I intentionally avoid. My use of Reddit is drastically lower since you enrolled me into it. It will be extremely low until you take me out of it. It’s just not the experience I want and I will opt out of usage until I am removed from the beta test.
With the latest update it seems the video player changed. Now, these icons show up on the right side. Tapping the video pauses playback. But there’s no way to remove these icons during playback. It’s incredibly distracting and an awful experience. How can they be removed during playback or disable this version of video player?
This floating anomaly started showing up today in every post. Highly distracting and unable to disable. Unsure if this is a bug. If intentional then it should be optional or removed. This is so distracting when trying to scroll.
