Looking for doggie extraction recommendations

Hi! Me and my 85-90lb 8 month old have been hiking a lot lately. He’s a large breed being a mix of rottweiler and german shepherd, and still gonna grow a bit. We don’t do any super rugged trails, but eventually when he’s older I would like to.
Something I have been thinking about is how I would hike him out if he got hurt. We went on one trail that was decently challenging, single track with a steep cliff edge and he did great, but that got me thinking about what would I do if he got hurt? I’m 23F and 5’1” 125lb of decent muscle. However, he’s already big and gonna grow more. I’ve seen ads for the backpacks you strap your dog in to carry them out, and I was curious if anyone here has any experience with them? Any brand recommendations? Or any other suggestions for how to handle a situation I need to hike him out.
I already let my partner know where we are going, and gonna start giving time estimates for when to expect contact again. I would like us to not be bound to areas with service, but I also understand part of keeping him safe might be to stick to areas where I can call for help.
