I got a 9pxl a month ago and the charging is extremely slow when the phone hits 37c, obviously that is a safety feature but is there a way to switch it off?

I live in a very hot region where ambient temp in the room is 35c and outside can hit 47c. The phone is unchargeable because it takes 4hrs for it to charge from 20 to 80.

It also doesn't help that my relatively newer pixel battery life (sot and sleep) is worse than my 5 year old Xiaomi phone. The Xiaomi doesn't throttle nearly as hard as the pixel either.
