I’m a Commonwealth applicant currently living in England, and I’ve been trying for almost a year to register my interest in joining the Royal Navy. Unfortunately, every time I apply, it says the Commonwealth quota is full.

I understand spaces for commonwealth citizens are limited, but I really want to join. Has anyone here successfully applied recently or knows the best way to register interest and receive the application link when spaces become available?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Aside from the DAA practice tests available on the RAF website, are there any other platforms or resources where I can access additional practice questions to improve my speed and become more familiar with the format?

Also, is the test conducted online or in person, or do candidates have the option to choose their preferred method?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to apply for a People Operations Officer role and I really want to prepare well for the interview.

I’ve heard that if you’re unsuccessful, you may have to wait up to 12 months before you can reapply or resit the interview, so I’m taking preparation very seriously.

Are there any current or former officers here who have gone through the interview process and would be willing to share some sample interview questions or advice on what to expect?

I’d really appreciate any tips to help me prepare ahead of time.
