On days my puppy has his playdates and meets 100% or more of his activity goal and has had at least 14-16hrs of sleep should I still take him outside for a sniff walk and play time?
(For a little more context, he gets play dates when I work 10-12hr shifts so every walk, enrichment, etc after that is during my breaks. I feel guilty leaving him in his crate from 7pm or sooner until 10-11pm with only potty breaks, but don’t want to cause more harm than good.)
He’s a rescue but I suspect he’s a staffy x lab mix and about 6 months. We have had him 3 months and yes very well settled.
I suspect he gets angry that he can’t be an outside dog when the weather is nice as he will come back after a long walk and demand to go back outside to sunbathe.

When we first adopted my puppy 3 months ago money was tight, but enough to be able to afford the necessities and the care knew that in worst case scenario we would have better finances in August.
I went to fleet farm and bought him the cheapest flea be tick control that wasn’t Adam’s or harts as those have nothing but bad reviews saying it caused poison, etc.
I just discovered that there’s a generic frontline for a much better price and same active ingredients. We are now in summer and the apartment has added grass so we now have bugs around.
Should I switch ASAP before we have problems it can it wait for the next dose? He was last dosed May 5th with sergeant guardian flea and tick.
About 6mo, 23lbs last time I weighed him, was neutered in the shelter at 10weeks
We are in the process of trying to find a new vet or stay with the same our cats went to so don’t have regular vet to ask(a family friend is a retired vet and did an exam after we got him, he’s skinny because he is a picky eater but otherwise healthy. I have a very hard time trusting the clinics after being some bad experiences)
Vaccines I can’t upload but the shelter gave him DAPPv 10-11wk and Bordetella-Para IntraN, Canine and Vaccine clinic gave canine spectra 10 in 1

I’ve been seeing a lot of pro-muzzle posts lately and am thinking I want to muzzle train my puppy for a few different reasons- vet visits, mouthy behavior we are still working on training, etc
As he’s a mixed breed rescue I’m just wanting something cheap but still acceptable to wear for a few hours a day.

Where do I get started with finding one?
