Confused on how to sing higher with power
Hi im 17 and i want to become a better singer, my friends and i plan on starting an alternative rock band but my vocals just arent great at all, i dont have much learning experience (only started attempting to sing this year) and my vocal range is from A2-F5. I only really sing when listening and playing along to my favorite songs but the notes they sing i cant really hit with my talking voice that carrys power, i usually have to go up into my higher voice register and it just doesnt good. I have a clip of where i sound right now (it sucks please dont be too harsh😭😭) but i dont know where to start or how to improve.
My favorite singers sing notes in like f4 g4 and it sounds effortless but for me it sound so light.
(Sorry for the voice cracks i tried to do like some cool raspy thing, it didnt work💀)
