Hi everyone! 👋
My name is Sammy, and I’m the founder of Bounce Bacc Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to restoring dignity, confidence, and hope for people experiencing homelessness right here in our community.
One of the ways we serve is by providing free haircuts, along with hygiene items, meals, and meaningful conversation. Sometimes something as simple as a haircut can help someone feel seen, respected, and confident enough to take the next step toward getting back on their feet.
I wanted to share some of the positive work happening here in Modesto and invite others to be part of it. Whether you’d like to volunteer, donate supplies, sponsor an outreach, or simply help spread the word, your support truly makes a difference.
The video attached is from an outreach event we hosted a couple of weeks ago at the Salvation Army homeless shelter in Modesto. Thanks to the incredible support of our volunteers, local food vendors, and community members, we were able to provide:
✂️ Over** 40 free haircut**s
🥤 More than 200 cups of fresh agua fresca
🐟 Fresh homemade ceviche and quality home-cooked meals
🤝 Hygiene items, refreshments, and genuine connection with our neighbors in need
None of this would have been possible without the people who donated their time, talents, resources, and hearts. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special.
We’re always looking for barbers, stylists, food vendors, cooks, businesses, sponsors, and volunteers who want to give back. Every donation is tax-deductible, and every contribution—big or small—helps us reach more people.
