Finding Zero-THC CBD Vape Juice in CA / Figuring out the DIY Route for Anxiety (Bans Suck)

Hey everyone,

I’ve dealt with chronic anxiety for a long time, and CBD vape juice is one of the few things that really helps me manage it. The catch is that I need it to be 100% pure CBD isolate with zero THC. I am incredibly sensitive to THC, and even trace amounts make my anxiety way worse.

I used to have Avida CBD shipped directly to me a few times, but because of the federal PACT Act shipping laws and California’s strict retail bans, online checkout blocks vapes now, and local smoke shops have nothing on the shelves. It’s becoming impossible to find a clean, zero-THC product like this.

The CBD is genuinely needed, but these bans suck. I’m trying to figure out what my best options are at this point:

  1. Are there any legitimate workarounds? Are there specific brands or private courier networks still delivering isolate vape products safely into California?
  2. Should I just go the DIY route? If you guys think DIY is the safest bet to ensure it’s 100% THC-free, how exactly does that work?
  3. How do I DIY it correctly? If I buy pure CBD isolate powder, what are the step-by-step instructions for dissolving it into a PG/VG base? What ratio should I use so it doesn't separate or turn back into crystals inside my vape tank?

For context, I use a Geekvape device, so any tips on what coils/wattage to use for a homemade setup would be amazing too.

Thanks so much for any advice, I really appreciate the help.

Google nest doorbell 2ndGen wired problem

I need some help troubleshooting my Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen). It is currently in pairing mode (pulsing blue light), but it absolutely refuses to connect to any of my devices, whether it's an older phone or a brand-new one.

Here is everything I have already tried:

- Factory resetting the doorbell a few times.

- Creating entirely new "Home" inside the Google Home app to try and trigger a fresh setup.

- Powering off all of my other Google devices (cameras and smart speakers) to see if they were interfering with the setup.

- Restarting my phone and disconnecting all other Bluetooth devices from it.

- Trying the airplane mode trick (turning it on, waiting a few minutes, turning it off, and trying to connect).

Every single time, the app just gives me a generic "there was a problem" error message.

I know it isn't a WiFi issue yet, because the setup process fails during the initial Bluetooth/local connection step before it even asks me to select a Wi-Fi network. Because it's the wired version, I can't move it closer to my router since it has to stay attached to the doorbell wiring for power.

Has anyone run into this specific pairing loop or found a workaround to get the app to talk to the doorbell? Any advice is appreciated!
